Registration Policies

The Registration Fee includes:

  • Register for RCCongress 2010Opening and closing banquets and entertainment
  • Admission to all general sessions
  • Your choice of workshops and roundtable discussions
  • All program materials
  • State of the art exhibits

Payment and Receipts

Payment in full is required with the registration form. All payments must be made in U.S. dollars.

Confirmation of registration is provided automatically with online registration. Confirmation will be sent by e-mail or letter for mail-in registrations. If you do not receive your confirmation, please contact Melissa Dixon, Registrar.

Registrants from outside the United States must use a U.S.-based credit card or pay by check or international draft drawn on a U.S. bank and in U.S. funds. Make checks payable to RCCongress 2010. Send to the registration office by commercial courier (such as FedEx or UPS) or by registered mail.

Changes, Additions, or Transfer Policy

You may make changes to your registration at any time, including transferring your registration to another person, by using the link you receive in your e-mail registration confirmation.

If you are registered as part of a group, check with your group leader for more information.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing and cannot be processed online.

A refund of the RCCongress 2010 registration fee less $50 will be granted by written request received in the RCCongress office by March 15. No refunds will be granted after March 15, 2010.

  • Registration is open to all. Each participant must complete a registration form.
  • You must be a full-time college student to quality for the student rate.
  • You must be 65 years or older and not working full-time to qualify for the retired rate.
  • Group rates are available. A group is 10 or more people registering at the same time, from the same address, and submitting one payment. Group registrations must be made through the group organizer.


All hotel room reservations must be made directly with the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. Call 312-836-0100 or visit the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile web site.

Room Rate: (Single/Double Occupancy): $169 (new lower price!) + 15.4% tax per night; $20 per additional occupant above two; special room rate is available until March 29.

Hotel Cancellation

If you are unable to attend for any reason, you are responsible for canceling your own room reservations directly with the hotel. You must cancel at least 72 hours in advance of check-in, or you may be subject to the hotel’s penalties and fees.

Special Requirements

If you have any special requirements while attending RCCongress 2010 (dietary, disability, translation, or other special circumstances), please be sure to include that information on your registration form.

No Smoking Policy

The Chicago Marriott Downtown is a non-smoking hotel. This policy includes all guest rooms, restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms, public space, and employee work areas.
